"FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS"

SORRY - SOLD OUT

On June 17, 2015, a White Supremacist opened fire during bible study at Mother Emanuel Church in Charleston, SC. killing 9 people.  Rev. Risher’s mother, two cousins, and a lifelong friend were among the dead.

Trained as a trauma chaplain, Rev. Risher became a national spokesperson for gun violence prevention.  She has appeared on CBS Morning News, CNN, MSNBC and in several national print publications.

We invite you to join us for a luncheon where we will hear the compelling story that led her to activism and inspires others to do the same. It is a message of hope and challenge.

Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019
Forest Hill Church
3031 Monticello Blvd.,
Cleveland Hts., OH 44118

Doors open at 11 am. Program begins at 11:30 am.

"I heard Rev. Risher tell her story at a recent event. The audience was moved to tears and a standing ovation.  We are eager to host her in Cleveland.

. . . Rev. Kristine Eggert, GBG Executive Director

"My mission in life is helping other people know that, regardless of the hate that was in that church, hate is not gonna win."
