As persons of faith we gather to commemorate lives lost to gun violence whether in mass shootings or in the horrifying daily toll of gun violence. These vigils give special emphasis to young victims. Our vigils always include a call to action.

2021 Annual Gun Violence Vigil
Sunday, Dec. 5

"Only Love"

Our annual Gun Violence Vigil began in Dec. 2013 on the anniversary of the Sandy Hook Elementary tragedy. Each year we remember the tens of thousands of lives lost, lives devastated, and communities ravaged by gun violence. Our special focus is always on the needless suffering of young Americans.

Our Vigil this year was presented live online via Zoom. It included speakers, music, and a candle lighting ceremony of remembrance. The recorded vigil may be viewed below.
